WHY: To further strengthen the bonds between our combat brethren and the fine folks from our hosting party
HOW: Fishing Gear
OATH is blessed to be making the trip to Mud Island to catch a few nice fish, some nice rays and some quality fellowship !!! Mud Island lies eighteen miles east of Angleton between West Bay, Bastrop Bay and Christmas Bay in extreme east central Brazoria County. The island is a mile wide and more than two miles long. It is divided from Moody’s Island by the Titlum-Tatlum Bayou and from the mainland by the Guyton Cut. The island terrain consists of brackish to saltwater marsh, where mud and sand support rushes and other grasses.
As with all of our events, we give you the opportunity to donate to a cause and know EXACTLY where your donations are going. There aren’t very many organizations that can do that, but at OATH, that’s exactly what we do !!! For this specific trip, we are seeking $1,000 to help offset the costs for any gear or equipment provided to the attending Heroes.
