Claudio Rodriguez – Program Director
Claudio Rodriguez has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Houston. He received his original training from a psychologist trained at UCLA by Ivar Lovaas, Ph.D. He currently has over nine years of experience in working with children with autism and their families. Claudio has trained and supervised multiple therapy teams and has worked with children with autism with varying abilities. More recently Claudio has collaborated with the staff and psychologists at Autism Partnership (www.autismpartnership.com) to assist OATH in providing the most effective and up to date treatment for children with autism.
Our staff is carefully selected from candidates with experience or recent university graduates. We select candidates not only for their backgrounds in psychology or education but also for their passion for working and making a difference for children with autism and their families.
OATH believes that each therapist working with a child with autism should be competent in the implementation of ABA principles. New therapists with no prior ABA experience complete extensive training before they work with children without supervision. Additional training is provided during biweekly clinic meetings with each child, their parents, and the entire team of therapists who work with the child.
